Spring Camp

This program is specially designed for advanced young athletes, offering expert instruction in a lively, engaging environment.

If your child is comfortable on black runs and already experimenting with off-piste trails, this is the perfect opportunity for them to refine their skills or push their performance to new heights.

Held Monday to Thursday during the first week of the October school holidays, with Friday available as a backup day in case of closures.

Age Definitions:

Participants are required to be within the age requirements on the first day of the programme.

  • Skiing 12 - 16 years
  • Snowboard 12 - 16 years

Time/dates:

  • 10am - 4pm
  • 28 September
  • 29 September
  • 30 September
  • 1 October
  • 2 October (this date will be used if one of the above is closed)

Lesson meeting point:

All groups start and finish outside the Kids Cabin at Tūroa base.

Lesson ability level:

This programme is for advanced skiers and riders only, so students should fall into one of the following categories. Groups will be split based on discipline, student numbers, age and ability on the first day of the programme.

  • Level 5: Ready to take your skills to the next level. Confidently skiing or snowboarding groomed black runs, starting to explore off-piste terrain, and interested in refining skills and hitting the terrain park.
  • Level 6: You confidently ski or snowboard all over the mountain and already explore off-piste terrain. Your focus is on taking these skills further, refining technique and confidence, and tackling steeper, more demanding slopes.

Add ons:

  • Exclusive programme hoodies available.
  • Hoodies must be added at time of original purchase.
  • Lunch is provided on mountain days. Participants are welcome to bring extra snacks/drinks. Please make note of any dietary requirements in the medical notes field in ‘questions’ at checkout.

Please note:

  • In the unlikely event that a lesson does not meet the minimum participant requirements, a reduced lesson time or refund may be offered.
  • Lift passes and rental equipment are not included and are required to participate.
  • In the case of a programme day where the mountain is closed (and no facilities are operating), Friday 2 October will be used. If more than one day is closed, an alternative downtown activity will be offered for the second day. Please be aware that there are no refunds or exchanges if you choose not to participate in the closed-day alternative.
