Join our Level 1 Exam Preparation Program to build the skills essential for kickstarting your snow sports career. Designed to prepare you for the NZSIA Level 1 qualification, an internationally recognised ski certification, this program is your first step toward becoming a professional Instructor.

This course is specifically tailored for those taking the NZSIA level 1 ski exam on 28 September at Tūroa.

• Please note, the exam fee is not included in the program price.

• Participants must be at an advanced level of skiing and comfortable on blue and black terrain.
• Participants must be 16+ at the time of the exam.

• 9am - 4pm
• 15 August
• 22 August
• 29 August
• 5 september
• 12 September
• 19 September
• 26 September

Meeting point:

All groups start and finish outside the Kids Cabin at Tūroa base.

Please note:

In the unlikely event that the programme does not meet the minimum participant requirements, a reduced lesson time or refund may be offered.

• Lift passes and rental equipment are not included and are required to participate.
• In the case of a programme day where the mountain is closed (and no facilities are operating), an alternative downtown learning option will be offered. Please be aware that there are no refunds or exchanges if you choose not to participate in the closed-day alternative.
